Acorn Pregnancy Counselling Centre has been offering free care and support to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy loss (following a miscarriage,stillbirth or abortion) since 1995. We offer non judgemental time and space, away from pressure, for our clients to explore their situation and the options available to them in order for them to come to their own informed decisions.This can involve one visit, or many.
There is ongoing support available whatever decision is made. Please see the services we have on offer to give ongoing support to our clients.
We have a "Choices" team that visit local senior schools each week leading classes and discussions on pregnancy and relationship issues - these are fun and informative.

Please note that the Centre will be closed on Good Friday 6th April and Bank Holiday Monday 8th April. Clients are free to call in whenever the "drop in" Centre is open, or phone for an "out of hours" appointment which will be made for the convenience of counsellor and client.When the centre is not open the phone is checked regularly,someone will make contact asap.

We are not able to refer directly for termination. We offer clients information on all the options and are well resourced
to provide both immediate and long term support as necessary, directing to other agencies as appropriate.
