I dont know if this should be under teenage pregnancy or not, but I'm 18 and my last period was 2 weeks into October. I've been ill since then and I thought that the pregnancy symptoms were just the illness lingering on, but I've taken a pregnancy test today and it came out positive. I don't know what to do. I'm great with children and always wanted kids, but I don't know if I'm ready yet. I couldn't go through with abortion. I'm scared about confronting my parents as well.I'm afraid that they won't talk to me and neglect me in a way. I just need some advice.

Your instincts seem to be saying that abortion doesn't feel comfortable, but then having a baby is scary with responsibilities that are overwhelming. You need your parents help and support, but you think they may react badly to the news. I think it would help you to talk this through with someone. Once you have talked it through you may feel more confident to speak to your parents, or someone else you can trust to help and support you.
