Ambivalent reactions reported by men after abortion

Many studies report that men desire some form of counseling concerning abortion and do not perceive abortion as a benign experience. At the least, these men struggle with ambivalence both before and after abortion. While abortion seems to bring a sense of relief, other emotions including anxiety, grief, guilt, and powerlessness are also reported consequent to abortion.
