I've just found out I’m about 6 weeks pregnant. I haven’t told anyone yet because the baby’s dad is married and he doesn't want to be with me now. I really want to keep the baby but don't want to tell the dad and there’s no way I could keep it a secret because I see him nearly everyday and we work together now and again. I think he would make a great dad but am worried about what he will say.

If anyone else is in this position don't worry about it and make a decision you are happy with. That’s what I’m going to do.

At some point, you will have to talk to the baby’s father about your pregnancy. Many women feel that the future of their pregnancy depends on the level of support the partner is willing to give but, however he responds, it’s important for you to know your own heart and go with the decision you can be at peace with.
