Alternatives Pregnancy Advice Centre opened in July 2009 and provides a confidential, caring and practical response to women and their partners facing an unplanned pregnancy.
We provide free pregnancy testing and information on the available options so people can reach their own decision.
We also provide support for those who have post-abortion concerns.
All of the services we provide are free and confidential "A safe place to talk".
We have a range of baby equipment and clothing which is a resource to those who have financial difficulties and we are always grateful for donations of good quality baby items for us to pass on to those in need.

Christmas Opening Times for 2011: the office will be closed from Friday 23rd December and will reopen January 5th 2012. Emergency contact will still be available through the mobile service above.

We are not able to refer directly for termination. We offer clients information on all the options and are
well–resourced to provide both immediate and long–term support as necessary, directing
to other agencies as appropriate.
