Welcome to the Firgrove Centre; offering sevices for people in the Southampton area who are seeking advice on abortion or the morning after pill. Drop in or make an appointment at the times listed below.

The centre offers a free and confidential service for :-
-pregnancy tests with immediate results
-counselling and accurate information for unplanned pregnancy giving you time to consider all
your options and talk through your feelings.
-pre-abortion counselling giving you the opportunity to get information about medical and surgical abortion, ask questions and talk through your decision
-post-abortion help and support for those who have had a difficult experience and struggle
with unexpected emotions.
-help and support for women coping with feelings of grief and emptiness following miscarriage
or baby loss.
-pre- and post-adoption support for those considering an adoption plan.

The Centre has been open for 22 years, and sees about 80 women each month. The service is
provided by trained advisors and partners are very welcome.

The Centre also has a comprehensive schools' programme called 'Choices', visiting many of the local schools and colleges as part of the PSHE curriculum. Lessons include crisis pregnancy and abortion, sexually transmitted infections, and relationships.

In addition, for the east side of Southampton, Firgrove are running a drop-in service at the Weston Lane Surgery, Weston, Southampton, SO19 9HJ. This is every Monday evening from 6pm - 7.30pm.
