Welcome to Family Support Centre Shirley

Serving Shirley and all Solihull MBC districts, Hall Green, Acocks Green and adjoining South Birmingham districts.

The centre was established in 1999 by a number of churches in Shirley and one in Olton. It is a Registered Charity and the trustees represent those churches. It is staffed by volunteers from various churches in the locality. We advertise in Yellow Pages and Yell.com and receive referrals from some GP's, NHS clinics, Health Visitors and schools. We have links with a number of other local Christian charities offering support in different family issues. Whilst we do not have a formal schools programme one of the trustees has close links with schools and also gives talks to students about lifestyle and relationships.
