The Beresford Centre opened in 1993. Our aim is that women and their partners should have the information, support and counselling they need when facing crises associated with pregnancy and termination. We provide free impartial & confidential counselling in situations of unexpected pregnancy. In a caring atmosphere we listen while the woman considers her options and makes her own informed decision. Ongoing support is offered and we also help family members where relevant.

We offer post termination support using a counselling programme called "The Journey". We also counsell after miscarriage, stillbirth and baby loss.

All our services are free and confidential.
