Welcome to Jakin Pregnancy Care and Counselling
Serving All of Leicestershire and Leicester,incl Wigston, Eyres Monsell, Glen Parva, Aylestone, Countesthorpe, Oadby
We offer a free pregnancy testing service and counselling support to women who face difficult decisions due to an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. We provide information on all the options available and a calm, friendly & confidential environment where a client can explore her options and reach her own informed decision. Support is also offered to partners and family.
We also offer post-abortion counselling support using a programme called ‘The Journey’, as well as counselling for babyloss through miscarriage or still birth.
Our first drop-in opened in September 2001. We became a charitable trust in 2002

In term times, we have a "Drop-in" on Wednesdays 9.30 - 2.30pm at the Eyres Monsell Children's Centre, Hillsborough Road, Eyres Monsell, LEICESTER, LE2 9PT (appointments can be made here for other times as well)
In term times, we now have a new Drop-in on Thursdays - 2.30-6.30pm at Open Hands, 53 Upper Tichborne St, Highfields, LE2 1GL
We are always closed on Bank Holidays and offer appointments in the summer school holidays when drop-in is closed.

We are not able to refer directly for termination. We offer clients information on all the options and are
well–resourced to provide both immediate and long–term support as necessary, directing
to other agencies as appropriate.
