Welcome to Alternatives: Inverness Crisis Pregnancy Centre
Serving Inverness, Dingwall,Alness, Invergordon, Tain, Wick, Thurso
We provide a free friendly help to individuals and families under stress because of an unplanned pregnancy. Free pregnancy testing is offered; counselling, emotional support and friendship; information on abortion and the alternatives; post-abortion counselling; temporary accommodation where necessary. Maternity clothes and baby furnishings, which are largely donated, are also provided. There is a 24-hour telephone helpline.
All our counsellors and Administrator are volunteers.
We cover most of the Scottish Highlands.

We would arrange an appointment outside opening hours for those that cannot make these times.
For those North of Inverness who could not make it into the city we have an Alternative meeting place at the MacCallum Centre, Perrins Road, Alness.

We are not able to refer directly for termination. We offer clients information on all the options and are
well–resourced to provide both immediate and long–term support as necessary, directing
to other agencies as appropriate.
