Amica Pregnancy Crisis Centre in Edinburgh serves Livingston, Broxburn, Penicuik, Dalkeith, Musselburgh, Prestonpans and Haddington in Lothian region.

The centre offers:

- free pregnancy testing with immediate result

- pregnancy counselling for men and women facing an unexpected pregnancy. The centre has up to date information on other relevant support services in the local area, as well as offering confidentiality and space to consider all the options and allow people to talk through their feelings regarding their own circumstances.

- counselling and information for women who are supporting their daughters in pregnancy crisis.

- post-abortion help and support for those who have had a difficult experience and are struggling with unexpected emotions regarding an abortion.

- help and support for women and men coping with feelings of grief following a miscarriage or other baby loss

- Information and support for those considering an adoption plan

- Baby clothes and equipment for families on low incomes. We also hold a limited stock of maternity clothes as well. Please enquire for more information.

All of the support services above are both FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.

The centre has a comprehensive teenage education programme visiting local state and independent secondary schools and youth groups in the area which dovetails into the SHARE curriculum.
