The Grove Pregnancy Crisis & Post Abortion Centre opened in 1999 to provide a confidential, caring and practical response to women and their partners facing an unplanned pregnancy. We provide information on the available options to enable individuals to reach their own informed decision.
For those who decide to proceed with a termination, if you experience emotional difficulties or struggle to cope in any way, we have trained Post Abortion Advisors who can offer you ongoing support through a Post Abortion Support programme called The Journey.
For those who decide to continue with the pregnancy we can offer practical support by providing baby clothes, equipment and toys and a 1-1 Befriender if required.
We have an Education programme working with young people in the arena of sexual health both in Schools and other projects that work with young people in the community.

We are not able to refer directly for termination. We offer clients information on all the options and are
well–resourced to provide both immediate and long–term support as necessary, directing
to other agencies as appropriate.
